Your team on the ground, without a subsidiary.
When the market is answering, Settler keeps you there every week: buyers and partners developed, sales followed to signature, deliveries followed to the door — until the market justifies your own entity. Then we hand it over.

Three ways to be there
Franchise development
For F&B and retail brands. We find, vet and support franchisees — capital, sites, references — and help them open. You choose them and you sign with each.
Representation and sales
For equipment, industrial products, wine and spirits, services. We develop buyers, dealers and the people who specify you, and follow orders to delivery. You invoice and ship.
Operational presence
For companies already selling in the market. A local contact for your customers, regular visits, customs and paperwork followed, service coordinated.
How a year runs
Contract
Territory, exclusivity and targets on both sides, reviewed by a local lawyer before any ground work.
Ground setup
Month 1: our people in the market briefed on your offer and its limits, local partners lined up — lawyer, customs broker, logistics, service.
Every week
Visits and introductions logged within a day, the pipeline reviewed, a thirty-minute call with your team.
Every quarter
An operating review: results, market, issues, next targets — and whether the market now justifies your own entity.
What we commit to
Rules we write into every contract
Representing a company in its market is a position of trust. These are the lines we do not cross.
- We never sign, accept orders or handle your customers' money unless agreed in writing
- Every introduction is logged with its date and source
- We never represent two competing clients in the same territory and category
- If we ever want to become your partner, we say so in writing first
- Settler is a stepping stone: a graduation clause hands everything over when you open your own entity
Your direction changes the base
Europe → India
From our Bengaluru station: South India first, Chennai and Hyderabad once Bengaluru meets its targets. State licences tracked, fees and royalties remitted within the rules, and your founder in the market twice a year.
India → Europe
One country first — France or Germany by default — with a contact in the buyer's language and time zone, audits and quality claims answered within 48 hours, VAT, EORI and customs set up, payment secured.
Questions before you start
Who is Settler for?
A company that already invoices customers in the market, or that ended Explorer with qualified opportunities — and that needs someone there every week, while its own subsidiary would still be too early or too costly.
How are you paid?
A monthly retainer and a commission on what is signed — a success fee per signing in franchise development — for twelve months at least, renewable each year.
Who signs the deals?
You do, directly with each buyer, dealer or franchisee. We prepare, negotiate with your approval at each step, and follow up; we never sign in your place.
What happens when we open our own entity?
That is the goal. The graduation clause sets out the handover: customers, partners, contracts, CRM, open orders and processes, and the people if you want them.
Be there every week.
Tell us where you already sell and what you need on the ground. We will tell you how Settler would run it.
